What We Do

When you’re diagnosed with cancer, the journey to better health can suddenly seem impossible. We know because we’ve been there. And that’s why we’re here now to help cancer patients on their path to becoming cancer survivors.

Faith & Gratitude recognizes the importance of providing support that treats the whole person. This is integrative oncology. Integrative oncology care uses holistic therapies to complement traditional medical treatments, tending to each patient’s mind, body, and spirit-not just their cancer.

Our Story

How one cancer journey inspired a movement

Faith & Gratitude was founded by cancer survivor Lori Ball. In 2015, Lori was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. She left her doctor’s office with lots of pamphlets, uncertainties, and decisions to make regarding her treatment.

As Lori embarked on her own personal journey to battle cancer, she went looking for holistic information and emotional support. Instead, she found a huge gap in resources. After talking with other patients, Lori discovered that she was not alone in wanting more from the world of cancer support. Her question was simple: How can you strengthen your mind, body, and spirit while facing cancer? Faith & Gratitude was Lori’s vision for the cancer community.

In 2017, Lori formally established Faith & Gratitude and partnered with her lifelong friend, Kathy Alexander, to build the non-profit from the ground up. Together, they have worked tirelessly with determination to bring relevant support and outreach programs to cancer patients.

Today, Faith & Gratitude continues on its mission to empower and educate cancer patients, free of charge.
