Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Chickpea Flour
  • 1 TBSP Sesame Seeds, variety of choice
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp  Kosher or Pink Himalayan Salt
  • 1 tsp Coconut Oil, melted
  • 3-4 TBSP Water

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. In a bowl, add the dry ingredients, mix, add in the oil and then slowly add the water until you can form a dough ball. Mix and knead with your hands until it’s smooth (you may need to add a bit more water).
  3. Between two sheets of parchment paper, using a rolling pin, roll out the dough until thin and even.
  4. Cut the rolled dough with a pizza cutter length & widthwise so each one looks like a little cracker. Carefully pull the parchment paper with the crackers onto a baking sheet, removing the top sheet.
  5. Bake for about 10-15 minutes, checking to be sure they are golden & crispy.
  6. Eat alone or with your favorite dip!

These nutritious chickpea (garbanzo bean) crackers offer anti-inflammatory and protective benefits against cancer and they are absolutely delicious!  Give them a try!
